Clinique Spectrum is excited to offer the registered Behaviour Technician (RBT)™ training starting November 4, 2019.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects communication, social skills, and behaviour. Autism affects 1 in 66 Canadian youth.

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based strategy that uses the science of behaviour to teach skills and promote desired behaviour. It is often used as an intervention for children with autism.

RBT (Registered Behaviour Technician) is a credential offered by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board for individuals providing direct behaviour-analytic services to children with autism (www.bacb.com/rbt). An RBT is an integral part of the intervention team, supporting the child in home, school, and/or community environments. RBTs work under the supervision and guidance of a BCBA (Board Certified Behaviour Analyst), who provides the intervention goals and strategies.

Our 45-hour training program will cover everything from the task list and ethical codes, over the course of 15 weeks, on Monday evenings from 6:00-9:00pm, from November 4, 2019 to February 24, 2020. Please note there will be no class on December 23 and 30. All classes take place at Clinique Spectrum, 4077 Blvd Décarie, in Montreal. The cost of the program is $ 1,100 plus applicable taxes.

Clinique Spectrum is an integrated services team for people with autism. Our small-group RBT training is provided by highly experienced BCBAs.
